The Challenge.
HSBC wanted to create a campaign to encourage its customers to use HSBC's Foreign Exchange services, such as Travel Money and International Payments. The initial idea of using a travel wallet as the key

The Thinking.
Working with a creative director, I was given a blank sheet of A3 paper folded up
to resemble a bi-fold wallet, and was asked to design it into a direct mailer.
The first wallet I created was designed to grab attention with a vibrant red leather texture and an international pattern. The second wallet was designed to peak interest with subtle leather detailing and the HSBC logo debossed onto the leather.

Both designs were used in successive campaigns and followed up with a series of interactive emails as well as featuring on the HSBC FX webpage.
