The Challenge.
Vodafone wanted to celebrate the first christmas of their customer loyalty programme, VeryMe Rewards. They asked us to create a campaign to excite customers in the build up to Christmas by teasing some of their festive treats and rewards that were soon to appear on the VeryMe Rewards app.
The Thinking.
Working with a copywriter, we created a campaign that played on the idea 'unwrap what you love'. We storyboarded and directed the video in which we wanted to hero a selection of treats in a fun and unpredictable way. Combining fast-paced camera panning with super slow-mo shots, we were able to build anticipation as we followed the camera up through the world of treats, giving each treat a slow-mo moment to playfully animate. The treats then landed in the gift box before the campaign key visual and strapline were revealed at the end of the video.
We followed up the video with social cut-downs and bespoke emails to further build excitement across channels and reveal the festive treats available.
